Seringkali ketika menjalankan aplikasi, karena suatu hal, aplikasi tersebut menjadi seolah-olah menjadi hang. Eh, ujungnya, di title bar aplikasi ada tulisan dalam kurung not responding. Mending kalo kita bisa menutup aplikasi tersebut. Kalo nggak gimana? Repot....

Sometimes, when we running application, suddenly the application stop working like hang. And usually in titlebar, there is notification that the application not responded. That's okey if we can close the applications, but if not? Very bad and that's eat our system resource...

Nah, berikut ada trik bagaimana menutup aplikasi not responding secara otomatis. Buka registry editor, kemudian cari key berikut ini:

There is a trick how to kill the "Not-Responding" application automatically. Open your registry editor and find the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Control Panel | Desktop

Kemudian cari String Value bernama AutoEndTasks. Klik ganda dan isikan nilainya dengan 1. Kemudian cari juga String Value di key yang sama bernama WaitToKillAppTimeout dan isikan angka (milisecond) sesuai yang dikehendaki. Misal mengisi 20000 ms, maka itu sama dengan 20 s (detik).

Then find the AutoEndTasks (String Value). Right click the value and set the data value to be 1. In the same section, find the WaitToKillAppTimeout (String Value), and then set the data value to the number of milisecond you want. Example if you set the data to be 20000, that's mean you set 20000ms or equivalent with 20 s.
