Sebelumnya saya pernah membagi sebuah trik mengenai cara menghilangkan Context Menu di Windows Explorer. Kali ini saya akan membagi trik bagaimana cara mendisable Context Menu di taskbar. Namun ketika saya mencoba trik ini, ternyata bukan cuma context menu di taskbar aja yang di disable, melain seluruh desktop. Bahkan start menu pun tidak bisa dimunculkan context menunya. Dahsyat kan? Langsung saja buka registry editor dan cari key berikut ini:

Before this, I have posted a trick about how to removing context menu from Windows Explorer. Now in this post, I want to share a trick about how to disable Context menu on taskbar. But after I applied this trick on my computer, in fact, all of the desktop sections of context menu was disabled (include start menu, taskbar, and system tray). To removing the context menu, open registry editor and find the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

Bila sudah ketemu, buatlah sebuah DWORD Value di key Explorer (Klik kanan --> New --> DWORD Value), kemudian rename dengan nama NoTrayContextMenu. Setelah itu klik ganda value tersebut dan isikan data valuenya dengan 1. Logout atau restart untuk mendapatkan perubahaan.

If you have found the key, create new DWORD Value on Explorer key (right click --> New --> DWORD Value), then rename the key to be NoTrayContextMenu. Double click on the value, set the data value to be 1. Logout or restart your PC to take the effect.

Ketika kita mengklik kanan menu "My Computer", maka kita akan mendapati dalam Context Menu, sebuah menu Properties. Dan di dalam menu Properties tersebut, terdapat berbagai macam settingan yang cukup "penting" untuk komputer. Nah, saya akan memberikan tips bagaimana cara menyembunyikan menu properties tersebut dari "My Computer". Langkahnya adalah sebagai berikut:

"My Computer" context menu (will be appear when we pushed right click of "My Computer"), by default, will shown properties menu. As we known, in the properties menu of "My Computer", there are some important setting for computer. I will tell you how to make the properties menu disappear from "My Computer" context menu. These are the instruction you can do:

Buka registry editor [Klik Start --> Run], kemudian ketik regedit. Setelah itu, temukan key berikut ini:

Open Registry Editor by click [Start --> Run], then type regedit. Find the following key on your registry editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

Nah, setelah itu buatlah DWORD Value dan beri nama NoPropertiesMyComputer. Klik ganda value tersebut, kemudian isikan data valuenya dengan 1. Logout atau restartlah komputer untuk melihat perubahan. Skerang coba klik kanan "My Computer", maka menu propertiesnya sudah tiada.

Then create new DWORD Value on the key. Then give the value name by NoPropertiesMyComputer. Double click the value, and set the data value by 1. Close the registry editor. Logout from your account or restart your PC to take the effect. Now when you log in again, there isn't properties on "My Computer" Context Menu.

Trik ini sudah saya coba di Microsoft Windows XP (SP2).

Seperti yang telah kita ketahui. Di sebelah kanan taskbar terdapat berbagai macam shortcut aplikasi yang sedang berjalan dan juga menampilkan jam untuk menginformasikan waktu. Ada sebuah trik untuk menyembunyikan jam di system tray tersebut. Berikut caranya...

As we have known, there are some shortcut of active application and a clock to inform time to us. There is a trick, how to hiding the clock on system tray, so after this trick applied, you won't see the clock again on system tray. Read the following instruction to removing your system tray clock...

Buka registry editor. Setelah terbuka, cari key berikut ini:

Open registry editor, after registry editor window opened, find the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

Setelah itu, buatlah sebuah DWORD Value baru dengan nama HideClock. Kemudian klik ganda value tersebut. Isikan datanya dengan 1. Restart PC atau logout umtuk mendapatkan perubahan. Sekarang lihat, di system tray sudah tidak tampak ada jam.

Then, if you have found the following key, create new DWORD Value. Rename the value to be HideClock. Double click the value, and set data value to be 1. Restart PC or logout from your account to take the effect. In the next you log in, you won't see the clock on system tray.

Context Menu biasa muncul ketika menekan tombol klik kanan pada mouse. Pernahkah tiba-tiba komputer tidak bisa memunculkan Context Menu di Windows Explorer? Bisa jadi ini karena ulah virus. Nah, di sini saya akan memberikan trik bagaimana kita bisa mendisable fungsi Context Menu dari Windows Explorer....

Context Menu is the menu that usually will be appear when we push right click on space, files, or folders. Now, I will tell you how to removing Context Menu from Windows Explorer... so, when you using Windows Explorer, you can't bring out the context menu again. 

Buka Registry Editor dan cari key berikut ini:

Open Registry Editor and find the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | policies

Setelah itu, buatlah sebuah key baru di key policies. Klik kanan key policies, New --> Key, beri nama Explorer

Then, create a new key on policies key. Right click on policies, New --> Key, rename with Explorer

Pada key explorer yang dibuat tadi, buatlah sebuah DWORD Value dan berikan nama NoViewContextMenu. Klik ganda value tersebut, dan isikan nilai datanya dengan 1. Logout atau restart komputer untuk mengupdate registry dan mendapatkan perubahan.

On explorer key you have created, add new DWORD Value and rename it with NoViewContextMenu. Double click on the value, and set data value to be 1. Logout from your account or restart your PC to take effect and update your registry.

Sekarang saya akan memberikan tips bagaimana cara menyembunyikan menu "File" di Windows Explorer. Beberapa teman saya ada yang menanyakan dan mengeluh ketika komputernya terkena virus dan mengakibatkan menu "File" di IE dan Windows Explorer menghilang. Jika kita korbannya, hal ini tentunya membuat kita bingung dan menjengkelkan. dan jujur saja, memang cara ini banyak digunakan virus maker untuk membingungkan user. Baiklah, berikut cara untuk menghilangkan menu "File" di Windows Explorer:

Now I will tell you a tips and trick about how to removing "File" menu on Windows Explorer menubar. I try to apply this trick on Windows XP Professional Operating System. These are the simple step you can do to removing File Menu on Windows Explorer Menubar:

Buka registry editor [Klik start --> run], kemudian ketik regedit. Setelah itu, temukan key berikut ini:

Open Registry Editor by click start --> Run, then type regedit. Find the following key on your registry editor:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | Explorer

Jika sudah ketemu, buatlah sebuah DWORD Value di jendela sebelah kanan, dan berilah nama NoFileMenu. Setelah itu klik ganda value tersebut, dan isilah datanya dengan 1. Tutup registry editor. Logout atau restart komputer untuk melihat perubahan. Sekarang coba buka Windows Explorer, lihat menu "File" di pojok kiri atas, bila trik ini siterapkan dengan benar, maka menu tersebut sudah hilang.

Logout from your account or restart your PC to take the effect. If you follow the instruction well, if you logged in after, there isn't "File" menu again in your Windows Explorer.

Terkadang ketika kita sedang membrowse file dan folder di windows explorer, kita ingin membuka sebuah folder di jendela baru. Nah, sekarang saya ingin berbagi tips kepada teman-teman di mana kita akan menambahkan sebuah menu pada Context Menu  (menu klik kanan) Windows Explorer. Nah, menu baru inilah yang akan membuat sebuah folder terbuka di jendela baru. Ikuti langkah berikut ini:

Sometimes when we browse some files and folders on Windows Explorer, we need to open a folder in new window. In this post I will tell you how to add a new menu in context menu (right click menu) Windows Explorer, to open the folder in new window. Follow this step:

Buka registry editor, kemudian temukan key di bawah ini:

Open Registry editor, then navigate to following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Classes | Directory | shell

Kalau sudah, pada key Shell, klik kanan, kemudian buat sebuah key baru bernama Open.New. Setelah itu, pada jendela sebelah kanan Open.New ada sebuah string value. Klik ganda value tersebut dan isikan datanya dengan "Open in New Window". Datanya bisa diganti dengan kata-kata lain seperti "Buka di Jendela Baru", dll.

If you have found the key, add new key in Shell key. Right click Shell key, Add --> Key, rename the new key with Open.New. In right window, there is a string value named Default, you can change data value by double click it. Then fill the value with "Open in New Window" or you can fill it with your own sentence.

Nah, kemudian masih ada langkah selanjutnya. Pada key Open.New, buatlah sebuah key baru dengan nama Command. Nah, di jendela sebelah kanan key command ada sebuah string value dengan nama default. Klik ganda value tersebut dan masukkan datanya seperti berikut: explorer.exe /e, %1

After that, add new key on Open.New key. Rename the key with Command. In right window of command key, there is a string value named deafault. double click it and fill the data value with explorer.exe /e, %1

Logout atau restart PC untuk mendapatkan perubahan. Sekarang coba deh masuk ke windows explorer, kemudian klik kanan sebuah folder, maka akan muncul sebuah menu "Open in New Window" yang berfungsi untuk membuka folder di jendela baru.

Logout or restart your PC to take the effect. Now, in your Windows Explorer context menu has been added a menu "Open in New Window" to open a folder in new window.
